ABOUT THE TEAM
Founded by the team behind the leading healthy food chain in Johor Bahru - Poke Twins, the team has taken their business line to a greater height by launching the BAKEHOUSE, together with a new member as one of the founders and core players of this brand - Claire, a passionate & young entrepreneur who is dedicated in bringing out the most flavour of our products and bakes.
Since our founding, we’ve been driven by what we didn’t know and what we wanted to find out. We’ve constantly sought new ways to do the undone in the spirit of always doing our products better.
ABOUT THE BAKEHOUSE
First started as a microbakery in 2019 with only bagels & sourdough bread as core, the team has grown and introduced a series of viennoiserie creations in 2022. Aside from offering classic butter croissants, the team's bakers also experimented with different flavours and combinations to come up with bakes that is unique to the Bakehouse. The dough used in Doña are pre-fermented to bring out the most flavour.
It was time to look for a place where we can shine our products to the community. We came across Jalan Tan Hiok Nee, one of the oldest streets in downtown JB, with its strong heritage as the JB's community, we thought it was the perfect extension of our bakehouse venture.
